Photography is my normal. I see the world through a rectangle and I was blessed with the ability to translate emotion and human interaction into visual images that hint at the story beneath the subjects.
When we look at the people who matter most in our lives, we see the interactions we’ve shared with them- moments of passion, love, solitude and quiet beauty. We hope, at some point during our lives with this person, that someone has captured this shared intimacy which makes our lives a little more rich. We hope someone has managed to document our story with this loved one.
But rarely are we able to hire someone to quickly recognize, cultivate and document the intricate bonds of love and life that are present with the people whom we share our everyday moments. Hiring a skilled artist and documentarian can help you amplify and document the special connections that exist in your world and make your life rich.

I approach portrait and special event commissions in the same manner as my commercial and documentary projects and we can discuss your vision, desires and anticipated outcomes of your project. Portrait commissions can range from documenting a family gathering or children playing in their environment to a special event, such as weddings, engagements, family vacations or reunions.
