I know, it so logical I’m actually surprised it never dawned on me sooner. But looking back over the last 9 months of blogging- I can definitely see the pattern!! Guess I’ll be learning some more astrology and reading the farmer’s almanac a little more closely!

I like the syncing with the caffeine cycle- smart!!

I’m not a bit surprised to learn moon cycles have an effect on our creative output, they can move oceans after all. I’ll have to sit down and track my blog posts against the moon cycles.

Once I’ve worked that out, my next task will be to get my lunar cycles in synch with my caffeine cycle.

You once gave me a card that said: “Leap!….And the net will appear.” It hangs on the frig so take a look. It seems I take my leaps with a “safety rope” still attached. One day I will leap without that ‘safety rope”…hoping the net will appear. Oh, wait a second, was my move to Myrtle Beach a leap without that “safety rope?” Maybe so … and if it was, the net did appear for me. And with my experience/adventures in taking that leap, I say:
“Leap – have faith – and the net will appear.” The net will appear for you, Crystal, because….. YOU believe in you… I believe in you.

The key to writing and music is the lack of lyrics. I use Pandora and the Moby channel- very few words involved. I can not write to music with words- I do the same as you, write to the lyrics!

WriteRoom takes a little getting used to, but the crazy black screen and green (or orange) font is the key. You’re not supposed to really read or look too hard at the screen while writing, just put your head down and type away. That’s the beauty of it- keeps me focused on what’s in my brain, not on the screen. Definitely do not edit in that program- your eyeballs will not recover for hours!

And yes, I cringe when I hear of people writing directly into the blog- from scratch. What if the dog unplugs your computer or you get the boot from the internet- you’re screwed! Scares me!!

I also cannot imagine typing anything on that WriteRoom screen though. The thought of black screen and green text is hard on the eyes. I much prefer to simply close my programs, maximize word and get to work on standard old white paper (screen) and black lettering.

As for file management, editing in a word processor, and sending it out to the world, we are on that same page
