Hi Crystal,
In reading this article, I was certainly reading you. My hope and prayer for you has always been that you find your "way". And it looks like that "way" is path of travel. As it's been said, it's not the destination that counts so much as it is the journey. No matter where you go, your home is always where I am. And I don't mean my house, I mean my heart. Love you.

@Pat- Wonderful words, as always Pat! I particularly like the part from Muir- we really are only a few generations away from savagery and maybe that is why we struggle as a society with being civilized- seeing as it doesn't necessarily come naturally to us! Thanks for the comment and share your tips on achieving balance! Take care!

Hello Agie! Thought I'd "settle down" with a home on wheels. Just in case I get the urge to fly, then mom won't end up with my belongings in her garage every time I get the itch to wander! I'm always open to options and I figure if I just throw myself out there, something or someone interesting will come my way! So glad the photo is at the beach and glad you're enjoying it! Hope you are doing well and enjoying that beach house and the grandkids! Thanks for the invite- I may take you up on that soon! Take care and love ya too!

You are not standing alone in the crowd, but rather, standing above the crowd! If more people stepped away from the rat race, even just for a few months, and took a glimpse into another world?.... they would indeed find that playing in the garden is more fulfilling than those board meetings and executive lunches! The key is balance...between work and play. A healthy diet, exercise, socializing, a spiritual connection and recreational companionship are but a few of the emotional needs we strive for. When we venture out and absorb that which the world has to offer, much growth and happiness can be gained. The great American naturalist, John Muir, said it well... "Only a few generations seperate us from our great-grandfathers who were savage as wolves. This is the secret of our love for the hunt! Savageness is natural....civilization is strained and unnatural." I feel blessed to have crossed paths with you through this medium. Bless you! :)
